How Search Engines Read Your Site

Search engines send automated programs called crawlers to read your pages. These crawlers follow links, read text, and build an index of what your site contains. They can't see images the way humans do, so they rely on alt text, headings, and structured data to understand your content. If your site is slow, has broken links, or uses JavaScript that crawlers can't execute, entire sections might be invisible to search engines.
