What Is Semantic HTML?
Semantic HTML means using the right element for the job. A navigation menu goes in a nav element. A main content area goes in main. An article goes in article. These elements tell browsers, screen readers, and search engines what each part of the page does. Without them, assistive technology has to guess, and it guesses wrong more often than you'd think. Using divs for everything technically works, but it strips meaning from the page structure.
