What Is Structured Data?
Structured data is a standardized format for labeling the content on your page so search engines understand it precisely. Instead of guessing that a page is about a restaurant, structured data tells Google exactly: here's the name, address, phone number, hours, and cuisine type. The most common format is JSON-LD, a block of code in your page's head section. When done right, structured data can earn rich results in search, like star ratings, event dates, or recipe cards.
